TSD Lead- Rojas

This role is responsible for increasing asset availability to operate at the designed production rates, producing the quality product required with minimal disruption at optimal costs through the utilization of reliability tools, methods, and improves equipment reliability, optimize maintenance costs, and reduce equipment downtime;
Champion the use of Predictive Maintenance techniques and other tools to maximize equipment life and performance is required;
Manage Maintenance services and ensure operational reliability;
Oversee Preventative Maintenance compliance and effectiveness;
Maintains high level of standards in the department and establishes proper procedures; ensure optimal standards with a goal of eliminating down time, seeking avenues to improve efficiency; effectively develops and applies preventive and corrective measures; skillfully identifies potential areas for improvement and eliminates threats to current processes;
Ensure standards for CLAIR (cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, inspection and minor repairs) aligned with Autonomous Maintenance efforts as part of MON Production System strategy;
Manage operational maintenance functions, emphasizing safety, quality, efficiencies and yields;
Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety;
Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary;
Manage the Integrated Facilities Services targeting a high quality service level while keeping optimum cost and a solid safety culture in all services provided;
Manage all Utilities services in the site (Cafeteria/Meal, Site Personnel Transportation, Overall Building Maintenance, Gardening, site Cleaning, Security and other minors), assuring minimal disruption at optimal costs and meeting all MON standards and governmental regulations;
Lead the Green Funnel governance in the site being sponsor of projects which will leverage finance, social and environmental aspects;
Communicates regularly with plant and field operations manager preparing reports and analyzes data such as asset utilization, maintenance, facilities and utilities cost, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations;
Manage Field Maintenance & Operations targeting to maximize field assets availability while setting high standards of safety and quality, with optimum cost;
Lead the innovation projects concerning irrigation / water usage optimization based on Advanced Field Techniques.

Required qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. A degree in Chemical Engineering with appropriate interest in the work will also be considered.

Other Required Qualifications:
* English (advanced level or fluent);
* Experience in Maintenance process is mandatory, including participation on/and leading teams;
* Advanced computer proficiency in Windows base programs (word, excel, power point and outlook);

Required Knowledge:
* Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, including unionized people;
* Strong ability to lead and drive cultural change, relationship management and innovation;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization;
* Solid analytical skills using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, project planning, etc. to identify opportunity areas;
* Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts such as 5S, TPM, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Standardized Work, Visual Management, etc.;
* Trade skills in one or more: welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, boilers;
* Ability to interpret and understand technical literature;
* Knowledge of TPM principles, systems and tools that drive employee engagement, reliability improvements and improved housekeeping;
* Ability to quickly come up to speed on complex production processes;
* Ability to work under pressure and to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency;
* General understanding of relationships between different functions in a manufacturing plant (production, quality, engineering, maintenance, etc.).
* ISO standards knowledge (9001, 14000, 15000 & OSHAS 18000);

    Pros: Es una buena empresa, la cual cuida de su personal y personal contratista diariamente y también del medio ambiente, creando una buena fuente de trabajo.

    Contras: Tendrían que ver la posibilidad de tener en cuenta al personal contratista ya que cumplen una función en cadena de la productividad de la empresa y por ello no tendría que haber diferencias

    Consejos para los directivos: No dejen de fomentar que es una empresa para crecer en lo profesional como en lo personal

    Pros: Es una empresa, donde si quieres crecer tienes oportunidades de hacerlo. Además de la experiencia personal que podes adquirir también hay muchas oportunidades para aprender en base a la experiencia de otros, es una organización horizontal donde los lideres son muy accesibles, hay buena gente y gran espíritu de equipo. Se trabaja por objetivos lo cual es muy bueno porque resulta en un esquema flexible.

    Contras: Los cambios tanto en el negocio como en la organización son constantes por lo tanto es clave estar preparado para convivir con ello. Trabajar por objetivos es muy bueno porque uno puede enfocarse, pero también puede resultar contraproducente si uno mismo no logra administrarse su propio balance vida-trabajo.

    Consejos para los directivos: Asegurense que todos los empleados tengan oportunidades de desarrollo. No deleguen esa tarea solo en los people managers. Mantengan vigentes los buenos beneficios.
