The Cross Domain Technical Project Manager (xTPM) leads the end to end delivery of a multi-domain project from a technical perspective. He is responsible for on-time quality delivery of Analysis & Design Integration and Verification& Validation aspects.

Key Responsibilities / Functions

Technical Leadership & Direction for Project:

Under the Project Manager team he owns communication scheduling resource management change management risk mitigation escalations all related to technical aspects.

Provides technical overviews of current project issues and status of resolution to upper management on short notice – Accountable for timely and accurate communication on all technical aspects of the deployment project.

Prepares a comprehensive deployment status report for Company senior management on a regular (weekly) schedule.

Builds leads and facilitates teams to address quality and delivery issues.

Facilitates development and deployment of corrective actions to address project technical issues.

Drives customer issues with company product architected solution and or service quality to resolution

by tracking reporting and escalating.

Communicates solutions identifies solution components and owner action item commitments and sets resolution timelines.

Identifies roadblocks to customer satisfaction and quality issue resolution. Reports roadblocks to Project Management and the resolution team members.

Escalation point for solution-level technical problems that arise during implementation.


Required Qualifications: (Education Technical Skills/Knowledge)
BS MS or PhD in Electrical Computer Science Network Engineering or equivalent experience.

At least 10 years of professional experience

Five or more years of demonstrated experience in network consultancy architecture design implementation and management.

Strong leadership and consultative skills including ability to coach and mentor team members.

Knowledge of IP and IMS and at least 2 of the following areas: VoLTE SDM 3G/LTE Wireless Architecture Cloud/Virtualization Small Cells Mobile Backhaul Applications EPC IP Network Services and IP Transformation.

Strong relationship management skills to build cross-organizational support for appropriate engagement and support of new services/solutions.

Demonstrated track record of successful project deliveries

Must be a quick learner (without formal training) self-motivated with outstanding customer interface communication and advocacy skills

Ability to understand customer and internal business drivers for improving project delivery and mentor team members.

Desired Qualifications: (Education Technical Skills/Knowledge)

MBA degree is a plus

Innovative mindset ability to challenge status quo

Good team management skills and ability to work across organizations and cultures

A blend of experience gained from roles within both a technology vendor and service provider is desirable.

Previous experience as PM and or Integration Specialist is also desired.

Technical Certifications are desired: IP SDN OpenStack Linux

    Contras: Los sueldos no son muy altos. Solo hay un aumento al año y practicamente nones negociable. No hay premios por cumplir objetivos o buen desempeño.

    Consejos para los directivos: Mejores sueldos. Capacitaciones para los empleados. Convenios con gimnasios. Bonificaciones en el aprendizaje de idiomas. Descuentos o vales de almuerzo. Convenio con una cochera.
