Senior Analyst, Resource Management

As a Senior Resource Management Analyst at PAREXEL, you have an opportunity to help achieve success by aligning resources to new projects and evaluating capacity and aligning resources as appropriate. You will work closely with project teams to determine appropriate resources for awarded work. Facilitate timely resourcing decisions and ensure resources are aligned to business needs. Proactively resolve issues by closely managing business needs to align available resources.

Strategic (20%)
* Maintain macro-level understanding of awarded work, potential new business, resource demand for the next 3-6 months, resource supply and challenges within the scope of the role
* Play an advisory role and help drive decisions in a matrix environment and lead/support strategic initiatives within the Project Resourcing Office

Deep-Dive Analytics (50%)
* Maintain a good understanding of the demand/supply alignment of resources
* Develop, prepare, and operational dashboards/metrics
* Provide analytic overview to operational leads as appropriate

Operational Support (30%)
* Participate in staff meetings of operational leadership and seen as an influencer to resourcing decisions
* Constantly engage with Operations on resource utilization and upcoming free capacity (3 – 6 months)
* Monitor operational dashboards and take appropriate action with team members to resolve operational issues, ranging from demand to actual analysis to forward projection of demand needs
* Evaluate and assist in the development of resource planning tools and databases

Skills
Utilize your flexible attitude, excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills to facilitate the appropriate planning activities for projects in a fast paced environment. Manage multiple tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail while ensuring a high quality work. Identify and address issues proactively in a timely manner. Ability to take initiative, work independently and use excellent time management skills to achieve objectives. Excellent computer and internet skills including knowledge of MS-Office products such as Excel and Word.

Qualifications

Education
* Bachelors’ degree required; Master’s degree preferred; MBA is a plus

Language Skills
* Fluent in written and oral English in addition to local language

    Pros: Lo único positivo eran los beneficios. Tenía tres días de home office, cobertura OSDE 410, reembolso de factura de Internet y una semana adicional de vacaciones (3 en total).

    Contras: Pésima capacidad de liderazgo y visión del negocio de los managers. Muy alta rotación de personal; se contrabatan y renunciaban personas todos los meses. Trabajo completamente rutinario y aburrido, sin oportunidades de crecimiento ni desafíos

    Consejos para los directivos: Profesionalizar el puesto; contratar gente realmente capacitada para todo lo que se podría llegar a hacer (especialmente a nivel managers), generar oportunidades de desarrollo y pagar lo que corresponde (los 3 días que brindan de home office no complementan la miseria que pagan).

    Pros: calidad de la gente. hay un grupo de personas excelentes y muy compañeros. Suelen formarae amistades que persisten más alla de la relacion laboral

    Contras: carga de trabajo excesiva. debido a modificaciones en los ultimos tiempos, se han producido muchos cambios en las lineas gerenciales y han habido despidos.
